Before 9/11 bush took the most cavation days of any other president.

dropped the ball on 9/11
Rice attested first she never recieved intel then years later when evidence was there, she said she gave it to her superiors.
pre iraq intelligence - distorted and false
Pre Iraq preparation -- disasterous
4 year Iraq failure
Refused to give Soldiers a .5 % more raise..

Scandals everyone from AG to World Bank ex president.
and everyone in between
4 years to launch a formal 9/11 investogation that was understaffed undermanned.

"promised to hol anyone involved in Plame leak responsible"
commuted Libby
"promised to get bin laden"
Now is not really a concern.

Has turned the budget surplus he inherited from CLinton into a financial disaster of trillions in debt that our next generations will have to pay back.

What has Bush Done right?

Replaced Slick SWillie as Prez, made sure Saddam got hung, set our troops free to kill 19,000 + terrorists, and prevented more 9-11 attacks.

As for that "surplus"...that was created by that damned Clinton taxing us to the BLEEDING POINT !

More liberal drivel......

Far as I can see he has done his job. Clinton "dropped the ball on 9-11" when he was warned about it in 96, he had 5 years to do something, he did nothing and passed the buck to Bush.
The prewar Iraqi intel was gathered during the Clinton administration and generally supported by leaders in the Democratic party and foreign Intelligence services.
The 5% raise is decided in Congress, and I recall Democrats handing out much less in my 20 years of service.
As far as the 9-11 commision, most of the delays were because of disagreements on the make up of the committee. Tough when you have 5 Conservatives that want to know what happened and 5 liberals doing their best to cover it up.
Considering that the "plame" leak was committed by a liberal Democrat, the wrong people were being investigated. Why wasn't Armitage tried for the "leak"?( Oh I forget he is a liberal and can't do wrong.)
Whatever "surplus" Clinton gave us was because he cut our military and intel by over a third. Real good timing when we were facing continued terrorist attacks.
So don't give me this Bush bashing BS. You (and other liberals) just love to gloss over history and spin it to your advantage.

Well, he did lower taxes, but as you pointed out, that's kinda harmful if you don't reduce spending too.

Oh, yeah, and he supposedly appointed a couple of judges who respect the rule of law. However, recent evidence suggests that they only respect the rule of law when it doesn't involve the President. So, that's not a great win either. Sad.

He has reminded us of the need for oversight and not to trust our government blindly. Other than that, I can't think of anything.
