Could someone post a model for the Lewis structure for Ca2+.

Write it like this with the +2 as a superscript:

Ca +2

there is no really a different lewis structure because calcium has only 2 covalent electrons so if it is a 2+ then you take out those covalent electrons so there are no dots to show in the lewis structure so you just write it as Ca2+

A Lewis structure shows the valence electrons.

Calcium starts with 2 valence electrons. The calcium ion is +2, so it has "lost" these 2 electrons.

What is left is the next layer down which has 8 electrons. So the dot diagram shows 8 electrons
