Why would anyone invent such a stupid and unfriendly rule?

i know it is so stupidddd..i dont have this rule at my school..good thing:]i hug my friends EACH AND EVERY day..and sometimes more than once..i dont think anything is wrong with hugging.

Actually, that was going to happen in our school - it was never made official, but if you were caught hugging someone of the opposite sex in school you got told off! And sometimes even made to move away from them (as in completely opposite directions)! I thought that was disgraceful =\ - what a ridiculous idea! And we were mostly 15/16 when that was happening. It's not like we were having sex in the corridors was it?! Idiots. I have no idea why anyone would invent such a stupid rule. Guess they think it's going to do some good in the end...

thats not 1 iv heard of... the school my son goes to the head teacher gives all the kids a hug just b4 school,, its a very small school i think hugging is a gd thing its friendly....

It's the age we live in. We've become so uptight about things like sex that any display of affection is bound to upset someone. As long as one person is offended then everyone else has to change to please that one individual. It doesn't make any sense but then you could go insane trying to make sense of the world these days.

My school doesn't have a problem with hugging unless the hug lasts awhile, then you'll get yelled at. Stupid, huh?

I don't know about Schools, but in the care industry if we hug an elderly person it's classed as abuse!

Yah, there used to be one when I was in Junior High School...it was so stupid because no one actually listened to it even though we would get yelled at

the nearist school district doesnt but I know If I went to that school I would be suspended everyday I love to Hug!

when l was at school, one of the rules in the swimming pool was no hugging or petting, HAHAHAHA, LMFAO!!
