Is there a way I can dry clean my own clothes? I have this black and white dress for choir, and I can't machine wash it because the black will wash off onto the white.

Is there a way that I can wash it or something without having to dry clean it without the black washing off on the white? Here's the dress: http://southeastern-performance-apparel.com/dress.html
The white part is layered onto the black part.
Help! The white part gets stained pretty fast, being right under the armpits.

You can buy a Dreyel kit at about any mass merchandiser store. It has a bag you put a dry cleaning cloth in and also comes with a blotting liquid if you need to treat stains. It works great, just follow instructons and put the bag in your dryer. It's completely clean and fresh in 30 minutes. I've used it even with very delicate items, never shrinks anything, and everything comes out just like it was from the cleaners.

Go to the store and read labels. I know there is one product out that is supposed to act like a dry cleaning in the dryer, but I suspect it is maybe a deodorizer. When I was small and I won't tell you when that was, we cleaned spots with liter fluid or naphtha. It dries without leaving a residue circle and would remove spots. Doing this we could get several wearings out of a garment before it has to be dry cleaned. And originally the dry cleaning fluids were naphtha I'm sure now they use different stuff.

Try Dryel. Look in the laundry section of your local grocery store.
