stores that opened and 1 or 4 in the morning? Why or why not?

No way! Geez, it's such a treat to have a day off from work and be able to sleep in that I wasn't about to waste quality sleep time with shopping.

I'm slightly agoraphobic (if that's the right term) because I get antsy in crowds. I can handle crowds in moderation but I've heard of people fighting over stuff in the stores just because they want to get some limited goods.

It was colder yesterday (Black Friday) than it had been all season and so it felt good to snuggle down in bed under the blankets and let the other people duke it out in the stores while I caught up on some much needed sleep.

This is the first year that I am actually going shopping on Black Friday. Mostly because my sister wants to hit up Walmart.

I did not, though I would like to experience it once. But I know someone who got up a 5 am to find her son a Wii. The lady in front of her got the last one. But she stayed in line for an hour and a half in the cold. I really admire her for that.

No I did not. Not because I think it is a bad idea it just is not who I am. I try not to buy into all the stuff of the holidays. I want to be able to get simple and thoughtful gifts for those I love.

The target closest to my house, opened at 4am, and by 8am they were sold out of all of there specials.
The toys-r-us closest to my house, the line for the register was all the way to the back of the store. it was a maze to get to each ailse.

Im glad i didnt go.

Nope, because no savings is worth dealing with the hordes of people looking for bargains.

More power to the people who love doing that!

I didn't because I didn't have any money and if I did I still don't think I would have went and fought the crowd just to save a few dollars.
