most tests will tell you that the darkness of the line means nothing. I just took a test and the line going down ( I ) was darker then the line going across( - ) the instructions said that it did not matter it was still a positive result. ( + ) even if one line was darker then the other. Just got my doctors conformation! Best of luck to you! and Congrats!

YEP! I took 3 tests for this very reason and all 3 of them had one dark line and one light line. I was 4 weeks then. I am definitely 9 weeks pregnant now so that means whether the line is light or dark, it doesnt matter. A line is a line!

Just because line is light on one test and dark on the other does not mean you are not pregnant. That is a definite sign that you are. Read the directions on the box and you will see that they will say the line will either show up as dark or light.

I was told ANY TIME you see a second line you are pregnant. For me, with my son BOTH lines were faint. So faint my husband and I took it to the sunlight to make sure the lighting in the bathroom was not playing tricks on us. We now have a happy, healthy six year old boy.

A line is a line. If you had a 2nd line come up of any shade, it's a positive.
I had such a faint 2nd line I had to hold it at an angle to even make it out. I'm due next week.

yes if you still not sure take a EPT test for sure but I think you are thats how I found out I was pregnant twice the second light color line mine was very light you could barely see it but it turn out I was pregnant.

Yes, you probably are pregnant, just very early-- have your doctor order a blood test and start taking prenatal vitamins! Congratulations-- I hope it works out.

yes, the same thing happened to me and that afternoon my blood test came back positive so take a blood test. Good luck!
