absolutely. im not racist or anything but if you want to live here i dont think its that much to ask for to learn how to speak our language.

I know a lot of people that don't speak good English in the USA, and I learn from them about their countries, interesting

Ask your grandparents and great grandparents who emigrated if they spoke English when they got here; unless they were from an English speaking country, chances are they probably did not.

yeah or else people don't like you and you get annoyed when you try to ask somebody directions and they live in the united states and don't speak english which bugs me

yes i do. when my mom and her family came over from norway in 1928 they HAD to learn english. they taught themselves, didn't have any special interpreters helping them along everywhere. if they didn't learn the language they would have been screwed.

yes, because of all the terrorist treats make people nerves ,,, plus i speak Spanish and have confronted people for saying things to me and my family when they dont think i will understand them
