It's usually an average between the mom and dad's size, but there are other factors that contribute to baby's size.

Gestational diabetes, whether or not you smoke...and a few other factors go into this.

So, eat healthy and follow your doctor's orders about smoking/drinking and your baby should be a healthy 6-8 pounds.

Good luck!

I don't think the weight at birth has anything to do with how much your baby will weigh. My sister was over 8 pounds and her husband (Now her EX) was 9 pounds and my niece was only 6 pounds. It has more to do with diet than anything.
As far as height you can get it from both or just one. My mom has long legs and a short torso and my dad has short legs and a long torso. My sisters and I all got the short ends of both of them so we are shorter than our mom.

It's a coin toss.....it also depends on your pregnancy. Once you get closer to your due date the doctor will be able to estimate how big the baby will be at birth. Good luck!!!

Sometimes neither matters. My grandparents were both very small. My grandma had big babies and small babies.
