Tell e what i wrong with it. I have lived in ....Illinois...Chicago burbs, Minnesota, Colorado, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, New Jersery, and Wyoming....I like California best. Best weather. My joints don't hurt here. No tornadoes, lightening, thunder, bugs, snow, sleet, little rain, I can grow plants almost year round, people from all walks of life...including all the above states. Raised my children here and they are good kind respectful people. California has many advantages ...please say what is bad about it I have not noticed....or the odd earthquake and the fires but to me minor....

Depends on which part. I grew up in CA but left twenty plus years ago; Los Angeles, too crowded and smoggy; however, San Diego and Santa Barbara and San Francisco are all beautiful...

I thought I would never say it, but I am now in North Carolina, and I miss several things about CA. They have great places to shop, and people can't smoke in restaurants. There are more, but you can usually find an up side to anything.
