I had left this job at a clothing store....this girl tells me her bf got recruited (girls there flirting with him to work there) and he got offered x amount of pay (and i realized when i was working there i got offered less but at the same time i dont remember if i set my minimum real high.....I did have one job before that ..t.hat i put on the application......only worked there for about 3months and they offered me less a dollar less infact)

THEN AGAIN THE MANAGER THAT GAVE ME THE OFFER WAS NO LONGER WORKING THERE....SO THAT GIRL THAT HAD A BF THAT HAD GOT RECRUITED THE SAME MANAGER THAT HIRED ME WAS NOT THE SAME PERSON

from what i heard from this gf.....she said hes not going to take the job....but then again i told u the manager that hired and offered me x amount of dollars....stopped working there shortly after i started working there.....so it was the other manager
should i just take it this way...appreciate that i got the opportunity

the manager that hired me(and offered x amount)was not the same manager because she she left shorftly after i started working there

yes. keep your positive attitude and remember the lesson from this as you move upward. by the way, salary negotiations are usually confidential, and one employee may be paid differently than the next employee doing the same job. who knows if the rumor of salary offer is the truth?
it could be bad information spoken out of pride, hostility or for other motive.
just say "fawgettaboutit" and keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to, hehe.
