For a corporate board of directors, the minimum age is 21. But for an advisory board or a student organization or a town council or a nonprofit, I believe the age can go lower.

Either way you would have to be extremely bright and proven to see this position before the age ot twenty one in the State of Arizona within the of City of Surprise. Yes there are young Board members that are twenty one years of age and older.

What type of board member are you asking about? State, county, city or town, advisory? Depending upon the State and where you live, it could be anywhere from 18 to 21 yrs of age. If Federal, minimum age is 21.
