Pure Si does not have enough ductility to be hammered or deformed very much without fracturing (you would have to measure very very carefully to see the deformation before it broke). You could hammer Si into another shape if you wanted to make it into small pieces.

Your question really does not make any sense. Silicon is an element, not a shape; and no element can be "hammered" in any other element. Atoms, the building blocks, of matter--and made of various--elements, can however be split or joint to form new elements in the atomic reactions of fusion and fission. Silicon is not an element that can undergo such a transformation.
