jjTo build on Sarabeth's idea, digital photo frames are quite expensive. What about getting them some nice, regular photo frames with pictures of the family together?

When buying for your parents, you want to keep in mind that they can buy themselves the shirts and the makeup and the perfume that they want. They don't need that from you. Your gift should show that you thought about them and that you care about them. Framed photos are a really nice way to show that.

If you are looking for a creative Christmas gift idea, why not consider getting a personalized Jigsaw Puzzle made from your own photo. This makes a very personal and thoughtful gift that all ages can enjoy from kids to grandparents. It also makes a great keepsake that many people frame and display in their homes. You can choose either to use a single photo as the basis for a photo puzzle or select multiple photos to be used in a Photo Collage layout. A text message of title can also be added to the puzzle making it a truly unique gift idea. A personalized puzzle takes around 7-14 days to be delivered and costs from $16 upwards.

If you have any experience in scrapbooking (or even just have an interest), you can do a page of you and your parents. They will think of you lovingly every time they look at it. If you can get a cheap frame to put the page in, that would be better, but if you can't, they probably have one somewhere.

Go to www.Grand-illusions.com and download the free dragon under OPTICAL ILLUSIONS, print it in color if possible. (Watch the video, and you'll see what it does).

Then, fold it and tape it and you'll have something really freaky for them to see.

Generally I restrict gifts to three categories:
Something I know they can use
Something I know for a fact they want
Something perishable; like pizza, flowers, etc. - something that won't stay on a shelf forever because they don't want to throw it out even though they hate it.
