I bought some games for my pc but the graphics really SUCK.
lol i was wondering what are some things i could do/buy/download to make the graphics look as realistic as possible! THanks!

here are my pc specs:

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz
1 Gb DDR2 533Mhz Ram
X700PRO 256MB ATI Radeon
Asus P5ND2 SLI deluxe motherboard
300 GB Hard Drive


P.S - I don't know much about computers so yeah. =)

Yeah look for cards like X1950pro, 8800GT or HD 3850 and if your on a budget or don't have psu that can handle those graphics cards get a 8600GT.

Before buying those cards make sure your psu(power supply unit) is up to the job. Also check your motherboard to see if you have a AGP slot(brown colour) or a PCI-E x16 slot as it will determine which cards are compatible with your system.

And don't just get a graphics card looking at how much video memory it has. Like a 512mb graphics card doesn't simply always mean it is better than a 256mb graphics card.

Your cpu is ok(getting old) but nowadays all the new games play better on a Core2Duo or AMD X2 cpu, so if there is any possibilty you can upgrade you cpu it will help even more but graphics card first will help you.

I think you should buy a new graphics card with 512 MB memory. The graphics card from NVIDIA is perfect for gaming.

go out and buy a card between a geforce 7800gt - 8800gt.
