Becoming is a process. If you eventual "become" rich for example, you were always "becoming" rich. There was no starting point for it. Well, possibly the beginning of your life was the beginning of becoming. (Of course, it could be argued that even before your life began you were becoming.) Anyway... Once you "are" rich, the "becoming" has ended. It ceased and was replaced with "are." So really, in this way, because becoming comes to an end and it has no beginning, I would have to say.... oh geez, what was the question again?... oh yeah...

My answer is "no.'

:) Fun question.

No ....you have to start out at the beginning to understand and to make things clear..Then becoming yourself is the true beginning..You become after the fact of the beginning.

Yes Becomin God Conscious or Krishna Conscious is the begining of reality. Otherwise we are in illuison or daydreaming in this material world. In a nut shell- We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. I am so glad I began my actual life and existance. For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line.

I think becoming is a new beginning. Becoming rich, becoming poor, becoming afraid, becoming more intelligent, becoming thinner. Seems that once you "become" anything, your life changes and starts all over again.
