how can my system restore be not working, computer crashed and tried everything to re-boot it then tried to restore the system bet it says there is no restore point, would i like to create one but i have numerous restore points, can not even restore it from inserting the disc and starting again, all it does is restart it from when the problem began. what can i do.

this has happened before, and the computer is 12 mth old, if i can get into the restore point of say yesterday then verything will be fine, its just getting to that restart point.

virus scan,
adware scan,
remove bogus programs,
reset the the motherboard settings to the defaults.
last resort: get a mac

how long have you had your computer.. and has it done this before- if it hasnt ask help from the geek squad or buy the parts to fix it.

unplug every thing and plug back in 30 sec or so. Then reboot ???

You could try installing Linux.

i had the similar sort of problem, see this guy he fixed it for me. he recovered my data and reinstall my operating system

your motherboard is fried, did you run your computer in a storm?
