It comes with 1 GB but I really dont want to pay extra for 1.8 GB but is it worth it?

I am using it for typical stuff. Just to get on the internet, use for school like writing reports and stuff, my pictures and my iPOd.

And what will you be doing with it in a year or two? It is a fact you never have enough memory in any computer and always need more. Go big when you buy and it will take longer for you to need more. Get as much memory as you can afford.

well ram is the easiest way to improve a machines performance and 1.8 is better than 1 although saying 1 gig is usually an adequate amount and you can add more later

What are you using it for and what Operating system does it come with? if its Windows Vista you want at least 2 GB (talking from experience)

It all depends what you are going to be doing on the computer for example if you have a business you would need more memory than just your regular myspacer.

Yeh its worth it! Like for your ipod youll have more songs to download. For school work it doesnt matter.

If it comes with Vista, 2G will work better. If this is an XP system, 1G of RAM will work fine.
