I bought a laptop 2 years ago, and also the obscenely expensive extended warranty.

Last week while moving, it was dropped, and now doesn't even boot up.

Will they fix this, or do I get a new model? Anybody have experience with this sort of thing here?

When it didn't boot up, I hope what the sales man said was true. Is it?

You won't like or give points to my response but I'll rant, anyway: Consumer Reports and other news orgs say, extended warrantys IN GENERAL aren't worth the paper they're written on, and, IN MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, Best Buy isn't worth dealing with AT ANY COST in terms of service after purchase.
