Seriously, WAIT until she's 21. It's only 4 more years.
Give you BOTH a chance to see what's what.

I think that you're right to feel confused, scared or unsure.
At the best of time it's already a huge commitment to make, let alone when both parties are rather young and don't know much about life!
Your girlfriend is not yet a proper woman, but a girl in a late teens!
So, you can say that you're going to literally see her grow up!
I'd advise the two of you not to do it if it's only because she's pregnant.
People marry because they have a commun goal; They have some financial stability; They are bringing more strengths than weaknesses into the relationship.
At her age, there's so much she still hasn't done and discovered about life and might want to.
Next thing you know, in three years time, you two start getting bored of each other, because you realize that you're not that compatible and do want different things out of life.
This do happen, not just to people getting married too young, but to most couples.
But, mainly to the former.
Well, all I can wish the two of you is good luck and congratulations.

Who can say if anyone is right or wrong in the marriage department. There are no rules on age differences; however, since you asked the question you appear to have some doubt.
You both are too young in my opinion. Neither of you have had time to learn who you are and where you are going, and a 17 year old certainly has not even really begun that process.
If you are really in love, and really care for each other, give it a few years. It will still be waiting for you.

I don't think it should be a question of age difference, but the fact she is so young. She hasn't had a chance to experience life yet and all too often marriages where one or both partners are very young doesn't work out. How about wait a few years, no harm in that right?

I think you are too young to marry.
But if you are worried about the age difference I will tell you 7 years is nothing to worry about as long as your girlfriend is serious about marriage and life. I married my wife when I was 33 and she was 18. Now I am 54 and we are still in love and together and have children.

My daughter is married to a guy who is 10 yrs. older than her. She met him when she was 15 & he was 25 . I think it depends on the maturity. They dated for awhile and they are now married and have a daughter. People may make comments for awhile but its not their business. They law is 16 not 18, we checked into it when she was younger. Best of luck to you!

i think you are to old for her. her mind is not at the level a 24yr old womans mind would be. but maybe you like them young and dumb! i don't mean she is dumb literaly but there is a reason why you have to be 21 to buy alcohol. people feel at this age your mind is able to handle desisions more.
i think marring her at this age makes you look dumb.
