Yes. I got another DWI last year and the truth I came face to face with was that I was an alcoholic. I haven't had a drink since that night over a year ago and attended AA regularly for 8 months. Not so much regularly anymore, but the truth that drinking for fun could end up killing somebody convinced me to act accordingly as well as my spirit telling me to follow what I knew was right.

yes, i came face to face with the truth that i am judgemental,
i always had set concepts, not just for myself but for how others should act, while these were basically good concepts, kindness, love, caring , acceptance, etc etc, i felt others were wrong not to focus on the same things i did, and i felt they should change, i sort of had a "be nice, damn it!!" attitude,
once i realized that i had no right to tell others how they should be, i began to apply that to my thinking
and it really made a difference in my life, i did not expect others to be as i was
so the whole time i thought i was an accepting person, i really wasnt

the fact that humanity is self destructive through self interest and that river will soon overflow.that is fact.no opinion,ideology,politician,priest,president,fortune teller, guru
or self appointed profit,and so on, can change it.again,that is fact.
don't walk upon a beaten path which has thus far,failed.
