How do I find out the name and address of a strange telephone number that appears on my cell?

I'd like a place that only charges for the information for that one number. I don't want to be enrolled in a membership or subscription service.

Do a search for reverse number search and do a reverse number search. Bell .ca does one for any number in Canada. I imagine most phone company websites offer that service. When do that search it will return name and address. here is a link to do one.

You can try going to www.whitepages.com.

There should be a tab on the site that allows for reverse-phone number lookup. I've used it on a few occasions. It might not work if its from another cell or something, but its free, so its worth a shot. As for a place that charges, you may be able to find more information from ads on whitepages.

try this believe me it works. put the number in it will tell you were that number is located if its Private it still will tell u the state.
