Is OneRepublic similar to Switchfoot and others in that they are Christian but do not openly proclaim it? Or are they similar to Paramore, where the members are Christian but they aren't a "Christian" band per-say? Or are they not Christian at all and just sound like it sometimes?

What difference does it make if all the band members are christian? Does that change how they write their lyrics? Does it change the value of their songs? All I can do is shake my head and give what I can of an answer. You were very right to put quotes around band as you did above. They do barely qualify as such, I absolutely agree. I'm looking at your list of bands and I see a lot of popular bands, but very few talented ones. Hmmm.... Perhaps you should listen to Slayer. After all, the guy who writes the lyrics is a devoted Catholic... plus, they're waaaay more talented than anything you've listed so far. Saul

Our God can work through anyone and anything. The other day I saw a possessed kitten walking around the back alley and then God used a drunk driver to accidentally run over the kitten. Coincidence - I think not. God imbued the tire with His will so why can't He also use One Republic? He can.

God bless you all!
