Is this 7th grader your own son? If he isn't then I would certainly strongly advise him to tell his parents. If he is your son then I would tell him I would arrange to see the principal in confidence to see what the school policy is on dealing with bullying. Presumably he is unwilling to involve the principal because of fear of reprisals from the bullies should they hear of this. This is how bullies get away with it though, secrecy, threats and intimidation. If this boy cannot deal with the bullying on his own then he needs an adult to support him so that he doesn't fell alienated and isolated or the situation could escalate. The school must have an anti-bullying policy, please make sure it comes to his rescue before any more harm is done to him.

you could take action real away. it is not important if somebody has come as much as you yet or no longer. perhaps they are petrified of being talked approximately as a 'tattletale' or although or they are merely undecided whom to have confidence. in case you comprehend who the bullies are, you could the two confront them (you're a instructor afterall) or confer with a distinctive instructor (ideally the central) or circulate directly to the mum and dad. determine they are punished, it is the sole way they're going to ever learn. Or extra desirable yet, you could actual merely confront the entire classification in an exceedingly oblivious way. do no longer take any names or something...yet merely enable the entire classification comprehend (determine the 'bullies' and the victims are latest) that in the event that they bullying doesnt supply up, you're gonna take some extreme movements. merely cause them to somewhat scared in an oblique way. That way no person gets embarassed for being placed on the spot and that i'm particular that the bullies will supply up in the event that they comprehend which you have found out approximately it and that there are extreme punishments. So in certainty, in reaction on your question, confident you could confront the class and style the subject out real away previously somebody gets harm.

You can talk to the principal about the fact that people in general are being bullied in your school, without mentioning names - are you a parent or a fellow student?
A high school near her had something like an "anti-bullying" project day just to raise awareness. No guarantee that would help, but you never know.

Yes, high school life can be hell but shouldn´t be. Teachers need to keep their eyes open and interevene - not for individual students as that really makes it worse sometimes, but rather attitudes in general.

You might want to have a private conversation with his teachers to keep an eye out and if it continues then have the principal talk to the parent-if the teachers catch the other child then the resentment at getting in trouble will not be toward your child which is what they are perhaps afraid of....

Middle school is like jail, if you rat on people who beat you up it only gets worse. The teachers are the guards, the students are the prisoners. Its a sick relationship but thats the way it is. Tell him to avoid the bullies, to keep his eyes open and to just split if he sees them coming. Tell him it gets better by senior high school and that college is a paradise, all the bullies are cleaning grease traps and wondering where their next meal will come from. Just hang in there and avoid the bullies, be patient, "vengeance is a dish best served cold".

Your son needs protection. Next time it could be worse. That bully has committed attempted theft. He could have a police record made. Talk to his parent and if not satisfied to the principal and to the police.

Find the bully and tell him straight up to not mess with your child and you will get the police or some athoriety and talk to the parents. And give your child some self defence classes.
Good Luck!

As long as he is not physically being hurt let him fix it himself just let him know their will be no reprocushions when he fights back (as long as he doesn't take a gun to school). I was bullied by some boys in 5th nd 6th grade untill finally one day, alone one of the boys picked on me I stood my ground did not actually fight after that I guess he (they just figured it wasn't so easy anymore so they quit) your son knows the social order he is in and apparently a snitch is worse than a wimp. Let him work it out by himself and I promise you after that he will fight his own fights... and win!!

teach him some martial art...seriously

the only logical thing that wont hurt him

it will keep him safe

he is scared he will lose his value in school if everyone will find out you talked to the principal

if he can defend himself he will not be scared again ever and all thos jerks will know not to mess with him

this will bring his morale up and he may even like school more

If the bully is in your class, you can ask to speak to him privately and reprimand him. Even if he's not your student, you can still cite him.

Also, as I am sure most teachers get along just fine, speak with one of his teachers.
