the sun is red because of it's heat
the moon is actually grey but appears white when it reflects light off the sun

This is because the moon has less amount of light but Sun SO shiny,the moon reflects the lights that gets from the sun.the moon is not a luminous object because it gets the light from the sun.

The moon reflects the sunlight to make it appear brighter or whiter than what it really is. The sun appears yellow to me on cloudy days cause on clear days, I can't look cause it's so bright it hurts my eyes. My guess is that why the sun is so red is because of the sunspots.

The sun is so red because its a flaming hot ball of heat.

The moon however, is a very cold but dull planet.
Although its color is not really known.
