Personally I think when you buy something you should OPEN IT and enjoy what you bought

I think the real understanding comes with the value of a fifty year old toy still mint in the box. Did you know that some of the Made in Japan battery operated robots from the 1960's are now worth thousands? My kudos to the grandparents/collectors now letting go of their toys to defray costs of granchildrens college tuitions. I love collectors because their habits are what will put my own kids through college.

i think those people are pretty clever. the longer you keep those toys untouched the higher they go up in value.
