I am trying not to look as erotic things, and to keep from touching body parts but my drive is still annoying. My mind keeps bring up images and causing me to get aroused. What makes this worse is that I am watching videos on how do deal with women and negative emotions so the videos are not helping.

The video I watched yesterday said to stop looking at erotic things and touching body parts. The video said it should better motivate you to go out and practice attracting women, which will help you, build confidence.

I need help.

can i ask what your opposition to touching yourself is?

As with anything else the more you tell yourself it's wrong or you shouldn't do it the more you will think about it and want to do it....like when people go on a diet all the sudden they want to eat even more junk....same thing with masturbation if you are telling yourself it's bad and not to do it you will think more often about doing.

I say masturbate as much as you feel is needed as long as you aren't doing it in public then there is nothing wrong with it and it will help you with these feelings you are having.

Put a finger on WHY your sex drive is a problem. Sex drive is a natural part of human function. If you wish to have no desire for sex for some reason (celebacy as a religious person), then you can see your doctor about getting meds that will help with that. I am not sure if you can buy it OTC, but Salt Peter was once used to lower sex drive in prisons and detention facilities. If you feel that your sex drive is abnormally high, and fear a lack of control (ie, rape or molestation of another), then you might seek psychological counseling from someone who can also give you a prescription.

how old are you, John? If you're a teenager or in your 20s, then what you're going through is completely normal, albeit aggravating. Rest assured that your sex drive WILL subside over time.

I don't know that watching videos that tell you to go out and attract women is going to help you decrease your sex drive - my guess is that it would have the opposite effect. Unless, of course, you're gay!

My advice to you is not to worry about it so much, and to try to develop and spend time in other hobbies and interests. Often increased sex drive can be strengthened by boredom, so get out and do things, preferably with other people, preferably of your non-preferred sex.

Well, it's analogous to having a fixation on driving cars without ever getting behind the wheel.

It is never 'satisfied'.

If your fixation is women, then go talk to a few. Don't let your fears steer you into the easy route, which is watching videos and such, because on that route you will never be satisfied - you'll just keep doing the same behavior over and over.

Go on a date...

it is normal to feel this way I take it you are not in a relationship? so therefore you will feel the need to masturbate and indeed will feel more aroused when watching erotica just masturbate as much as you can when you are able to and enjoy it! we all do it and also sometimes when we are in a relationship we still do it! it all depends on our sex drives so enjoy! it's also good for relieving tension, maybe that's why your feeling annoyed?

i think you have too much pent-up energy in you. go excercise, meet people, talk to them. and try to occupy your mind with things other than women. maybe you shd concentrate on getting a killer body or something.

then you have a reason to touch yourself :P

Exercise is the answer. Start working out and you'll start feeling better about yourself and more confindent. Plus if you work out hard enough, you'll be too tired to worry about anything else.

I hope that you are seeing a doctor or therapist for this. I think it is normal to think and touch but it sounds like you obsess about things. You sound almost dangerous
get help from someone who is qualified to help you.
