here is what I do. it may work for you, or it may not. i try not to think so much. i just do. sometimes, i think, god, i have continuing classes, the kids, my job, the house payment, insurance, etc, etc, and it can be overwhelming. so i do what i can. i also have a routine, i get up when the alarm clock goes off no matter what. i make my coffee, i check my e-mail. i think , okay , today, something good is going to happen. then i repeat, today, something good is going to happen. then i repeat, today, something good is going to happen.
if it does, then i can say, "see", but if it doesn't then i can say, well, maybe tomorrow, but, after all, today was pretty dang ok.

I read the book the secret, and I think most of it is B.S.Although I do have to say that it had one good point....Whenever your feeling down think about what you were last thinking about, more than likely it was about something negative. If you try and shift your thoughts immediately to something positive, your outlook slowly improves.Try it, whenever you have a negative thought in your head, think of something positive that makes you happy. It doesn't work over night, but eventually it catches on.It's very easy to be negative,it takes a little time and effort to be positive, sad but true! There is a song by the Indigo Girls called"Closer to Fine"and one line that stands out to me is....."Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable, and lightness has a call that's hard to hear"Listen to it maybe it will help!!!!

Thats a tough one to institute but an easy one to explain. The first thing is to not automatically agree with your friends or family who are always pessimistic. breaking that mold of constant agreance is a great start. America, especially, is chronically depressed, so dont listen to most of them. Second, start looking for the positive in life. Think of a reason for you being here. (Im not preaching, but when you have a purpose it does brighten your day right?) also, start being more active. when we get down we slow down too. thats a horrible strategy. Get up and get out. DONT GO TO A MOVIE. Go to the park, go to the mountains/beach. Visit a museum of History that you dont know anything about. Mainly its all about broadening your mind. depressed people dont want to experience anything new cause they think they know it all. be better than the rest by admitting you have much to learn and that you want to!

Honestly, if anyone in the world has a reason to be negative about life it would be me. But I am able to stay positive because there are so many good things in my life and I want to enjoy them to the fullest. Remember there are many more who are less fortunate than we are. Life is short seize every waking moment and make a difference in the lives of those around you..
The main thing- smile and always see the humour in every situation, it's there you just have to seek it sometimes.

An attitude of gratitude. Thank Gog for everything that you have ... if you do that continually during three days, it will create a patterns in your mind ... then an habit. Your life will improve tremendously if you start making the change in your mind. The change is possible thanks to the power of gratitude.

Make 2 lists...1 of your blessings and 1 of your stressors.
If your blessings list is longer, problem solved.
If your stressors list is longer, read up on 3rd-world countries. Problem solved.

Well.... I would say, just thank god that he put u on earth and just thank him for the loving family that u have, it may not seem like they care and love u, but they really do, either u can except that or not, but they really do.

HELP OTHERS!
It works every time. I believe that what you sow, you reap. What goes around, comes around. The less you think of yourself, the more others will think of you. The more you think of yourself, the less others will think of you. Karma.
A great move and movie: Pay It Forward....rent it.
