I was Eleven then. I remember Christmas at my Grandma's house. Everyone getting together, eating good food and just enjoying one anothers company. I remember good old fashion snowy days where a girl could count on the weather keeping her out of school for at least three or four days.
Fresh made pumkin pies at Thanksgiving.
People getting along and not worrying about our young men over seas fighting a war that nobody cares about anymore.

My Siblings getting into mischief and my sister always blaming it on the younger brothers until I stepped in and started ratting her out. Boy she did not like that but the boys did.
Going four wheel driving with my Aunt and Uncle. They had a jeep that could go anywhere. But then it scared the H_ _ _ out of me, Not my sister though it kept her mind busy long enough she stayed out of trouble for about as long as the ride lasted.

Going fishing with my Grandma and Grandpa. I truly cherished those times. Seems like a boring thing to do, but if I knew that I would loose me Grandpa to cancer only six years later I would have done it more.

Finally playing Yoker and other card games with my Grandpa.
He taught me well. People still have a hard time beating me.
He was tough my Grandpa, but knew I had to be to survive in this world.
Everyone has fun things exciting, things that they remember from years past,
But to me the simplist things are the ones that bring me the most enjoyment. Thank you for reminding me and I hope this is what you wanted and not some things in history that went wrong in 1975. Because at Eleven I am afraid I could care less or payed much attention to the politics back then.
Thanks again.

Cup Final Series between Sabres and Flyers. Danny Gare scoring on Bernie Parent in the ice fog at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium. Also Jim Lorentz swatting a live bat out of the air during this series with his stick.
