I've heard that sociopaths are usually motivated by whatever is best for them, but I was wondering if there are other motivations too. For instance, would you help someone who's helped you in the past (even if there's no immediate benefit for you)? Or would you try to keep a promise that you'd made, even if it causes you trouble?

i do all i can.
for those who help me,i have been know to go without just to help them.
but for those who have hurt me..............oh that's another story.
i can go out of my way to become sick,twisted and vindictive.i don't like to do it though.i try my best to control myself.but there are always cases that you just can let go.you end up with this burning feeling in the pit of your stomach that won't go away until you fell they hurt as much as you do.

They are very crafty about covering up their true selves and as a result are hyper conscious of what everyone thinks of them they will use arguments such as "everyone likes this " or " nobody likes that " etc...If they think something is not popular they won't like it or at least not tell anyone .They will use passive aggression to vent .Their worst fear is to be found out .So they will seem to be helpful when they are always deriving benefit now or in the future.They have no regard for you or your time or anyone but them.They are special and can do no wrong in their own eyes .I have known a few and they are the sickest bunch of @sssholes.
