does anybody know a great HTML Editor that will work good with firefox?
The reason for this is because, currently I'm using Frontpage 2003, and so far my webpage looks great on IE. But when I preview it in FireFox2, it looks crappy. Certain java scripts won't work, the transparency's aren't right. Things just don't look the way they're supposed to. Is it something I'm doing wrong, or is it Frontpage, or should I just give up and forget about the whole thing...?

Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 is the best.
Alleycode or Amaya works well too.

Frontpage is terrible. Try using Dreamweaver from Adobe.

Try Adobe PageMill, NetObjects Fusion, or HomeSite (supposedly the best) instead of FrontPage.

I don't know as much about HTML Editors as I do HTML itself. Learning HTML is the best way to make a page. Here's a couple of reference:

• The Everything Build Your Own Homepage Book (book from the Everything Book series)
• The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Webpage
• HTML for Dummies

For learning HTML, my best advice is to use a book. I know it doen't sound as fun as using websites but it is much more efficient. After learning HTML it is a good idea to learn JavaScript. The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Webpage covers some JavaScript, but not enough to learn well.

Good luck!!! ;-)
