Poor Max was like the guy who brought a knife to a gun fight. Do you think it would have been more balanced if Karl had blown three of his limbs off while heading for a beer with his pals?
-
Do you think Max needed to mention his grenade blunder for a 50th time during the hour, or was 49 enough?

Where?

Maybe we saw different debates. The one I saw was at Regent U and was about 1 1/2 hours long. General McCaffrey wiped the floor with Rove and Senator Cleland ran over him with his wheelchair. Rove spouted the same old same lines from George Bush's speeches. McCaffrey spoke from experience and conviction. Cleland spoke about the constitution and the declaration of independence. Rove repeated the PNAC principles.

Most of what Rove said was opinion, but he also threw in several lies. The one I remember is that we brought the vote to Iraq's women.

Governor JEB wasn't bad, and by the end he was agreeing with several of McCaffrey's and Cleland's main points about how the US national interest should come first and how we should let nations make their own choices in government. I think JEB sees which way the wind is blowing and is willing to revert back to more of a realist position on international relations. Anyway, JEB showed himself to be a smart guy, albeit something of an ideologue. It's too bad his brother ruined his chance at the presidency.

Too bad Rove wasn't asked to demonstrate his courage instead of his tongue---he would have fallen flat on that count

"The devil can cite scripture for his purpose"

It's pretty sad when a brave man is insulted by a fat, sulking little liar and a media whore like Coulter, and others applaud it.

And when posters on this website compound the insult by slandering the man with the SAME LIES told by Coulter.

"Cleland served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Captain. He was awarded the Silver Star and the Bronze Star for valorous action in combat, including during the Battle of Khe Sanh on April 4th, 1968. Due to the severity of his injuries, doctors amputated both his legs above the knee and his right forearm

America must have a Death Wish to raise citizens like some of you.

you apparently had the mute button engaged. Cleland made Rove look like a kindergardener-several times it appeared Rove wanted to cry or crawl under the table. What a joke!
And maybe do a little homework before you make a fool of yourself in the future.

How many limbs have you lost defending your country?
Karl Rove is a pig of the 1st order...and apparently so are you.

One doesn't debate with his limbs, but with his mind. Rove is a clod. And this question is nasty.

Yes, its pretty sad when you drop one of your own grenades. Make up for your own mistake by falling on it, then be hailed as a hero. Most people would have nominated him for a Darwin award.

But then again, the same people believe a scratch received during RPG practice by a piece of shrapnel warrant's hero status and a presidential nomination too.

Sorry I missed it. I know Max would have been at a severe disadvantage with Rove in a mental discussion.
