I always assumed the aliens would be more interested in el chupacabra. That thing is insanely weird. The Loch Ness monster is pretty lame -- it doesn't even eat people, as far as I know, so why would the aliens care?
I dunno. I could be wrong.

Where have you been? You are off by a decade. They came in 2002! (not 2012) and of course they took Loch Ness monster with them.

Nessie has been here long enough to go native. Big foot is such a stuck up recluse that no one will care if he leaves.

No - the Venusian EPA won't let them bring Nessie back because Nessie might have Lyme disease. Besides, the warranty has expired on their transparent aluminum holding tank, and they're afraid that Nessie's thrashing about will split the tank at the seams.

No, they will take her back to Pluto, and they will punish the scientists for saying that Pluto was not a planet, because they hurt Nessie's feelings by saying that she didn't come from an actual planet, only a dwarf planet.
