Animal cruelty is definitely a symptom of an antisocial personality. The fact that he was laughing about it in a group of people makes it that much more scary. This guy is a monster of sorts. Next time that happens, you might want to say that you don't really see how torturing an animal is funny. Be careful, though - let him know that it is the behavior you don't find funny - not him.

It is not too late to report this creep to the local police and or Humane society or aspca.
I absolutely hate it when people think cruelty of any kind is funny. When it is aimed at animals or small children, it is even worse, somehow. There is a saying, The only thing evil needs to thrive is for good men (people) to do nothing.
Edit: I don't mean the above quote to be a criticism of YOU, just as an encouragement for you to do something, ok?

You did the right thing by walking out. That is very murderous behavior, serial killer tendencies. Had you said anything to him, you could have been "the baby pig". That's how Dahmer got started ya know. I probably would have told someone in charge though. It makes you wonder what else he's capable of.

If I was there he would have been laying on the floor holding onto his boys. Since you worked in this place previously, I would have gone to human resorces and reported him. You did have witnesses. Get his a** fired.

i didn't read your story because things like that make me sick, i would have told him he is one sick s o b and he better stay the hell away from me and i would report him to the aspca because animal abuse is not only sick but illegal and hopefully i could get him jail time or at least a big fine.

I've heard stories like these dozens of times in my life. What I'd like to do is different than what I actually do, which is hang my head and avoid their company.
