people are saying they wont drop that far because their 2 losses were triple over time...

i say what about all the last second play wins they have..
does this help the team, i say no because it shows weakness.
i think the last second wins with 2 triple overtime losses hurts them more than it helps them.
your thoughts

LSU is lucky to be 10-2, it could easily be 7-5. They escape alot of losses with last second play to win the game, most notable the Auburn game, in which they got a TD passes on their last play to win the game. Wow talk about 9 lives, they seem to evade losses like nobody business but they couldn't escape the Hogs yesterday to end their BCS title hope.

The only thing that has hurt LSU is their 2 losses. It's obvious that their 3 close calls did not hurt them at all (thought I've seen other teams squeak out wins and somehow drop in the standings)
2 losses should drop them out of the NC game, but I'm sure they will still manage to make a BCS bowl game.

It will drop them far enough to be out of the NC picture... for simple fact that there will be at least 2 teams that only have 1 loss .... or 1 1 loss and an undefeated.... Kansas can only lose 1 more game because if they lose to Mizzou they dont play in the Big 12 title game....

And Ohio State is done till bowl game... so they only have 1 loss...
Those 2 facts should mean any team with 2 losses can settle for a "normal" bcs bowl or less.

I would love for Kansas to lose to Mizzou then Oklahoma beat Mizzou... combined with a WVU loss to UConn that would set up a Kansas v Ohio St NC game

true, but theres only 3 of them that were close(bama, auburn, florida), and only auburn was a last second win. none of them went to overtime. plus we have wins vs va. tech(48-7), south carolina(28-16), and miss. state.(45-0). and it can only help to have both of your losses in triple overtime.
and besides, does it matter we have no shot, if we win next week we go to the bcs, if we lose, we dont.

Im tired of hearing that we should be 7-5.... It make no sense to speculate like that ......... I can also make arguments that we should be 12-0......I can show you that the past national champs have won close games against weak teams......

Take away a fumble and some penalties and we would have beat Auburn by 2 touchdowns...

We can endlessly argue over who should have won.....

They could easily be 12-0...and just as easily be 7-5.

They won about half there last second games, but also lost half of them.

They should drop to about 7 or 8

I believe the fact that LSU has been torched by three different runnning backs and if you look at the last four BCS champs, none of them gave up so many yards and points. I don't know how anyone could rank them so high. It has all been hype since August, it caught up to USC and it has now finally caught up to LSU.

by this poll, arkansas is ranked 33rd. LSU has been over rated since the beginning of the season, as are most teams in the SEC.

They'll probably drop to 6th.

They will lose another game in the SEC Championship to Georgia, that will hurt them the most.
