What reasons could a woman have for avoiding phoning a work colleague? The woman failed deliberately avoiding returning a call from a male colleague. I KNOW she does not dislike him and they have not had an argument etc

So why did she get someone else to mkae the call for her?

Is it likely she likes the male colleague as if she had no feelings for the male member there should be no reason to avoid making the call herself?

I'm assuming this is work related. Perhaps she was busy with other work so she delegated this return call to someone else. Or, if she's like my direct supervisor, she pawns off as much work as possible to others so she doesn't actually have to do her job. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that she's a woman and the colleague was a man.

1. He is a long-winded bore
2. he has asked her to do a project - and she has not started it yet
3. He came on to her, and she doesn't want to go there, so she is avoiding him

Three good reasons. If she fancied him, she would not find him a bore, would have prioritised the project, and would be hanging over his desk with all her assets on show, returning his call in person. Or is that just me?

It's possible she might get embarrassed or tongue-tied when she talks to him, and so doesn't call him for that reason.
