I'm starting to plan the purchase of an off-shore cruiser. I'm pretty sure from my research I want a twin diesel boat, at least 40 feet for sailing distances (eventually) up to 1500 miles. Any information I have been able to find at this early stage is heavily commercialised and not the fundamentals I am looking for. Can you offer any internet starting points/sound advice as the type of boat (model would be great) that I should be looking at.

Thanks in advance.

Sail boats with single or twin diesels are called motor sailors as there cabin is designed different >They don't sail well Or motor well as of the round hull and are displacement hulls> Not much of a choice as 40' is small for motorsailers with twin screws>Most are single screw>>Good luck searching>

i visit flow with dinosaurs, because of the fact gazing them attempt to haul anchor with their tiny little palms could be hilarious. Plus, i'm no longer completely confident that a zombie's organic lurch would not cancel out the action of the sea, which could make even a sluggish voodoo zombie ambitious. those are significant issues to think of roughly, so as which you do no longer make a grevious blunders in judgement as quickly as quantum scientists advance the technologies to return and forth between commerce universes; that would take place any day now, and probable already has in a cooler universe than this one.

Consider joining the Seven Seas Cruising Association -- you will find it's a gold mine of info -- the people are live aboard cruisers.
