i loved it! yeah, i think it's alright for a 12 yo. there's hardly any real gruesome scene in it and i don't think there was any sexual content. well, there were only parts where the chic is just changing her clothes and the kid with binoculars are trying to see her change lol. this movie scared me because some parts of it are so real, especially the beginning. it made me jump..... but it's nothing like the Ring,1408, Final Destination, etc...
it's kinda like the movie When A Stranger Calls, except that Disturbia's 5 times more exciting

it's not scary but for a 12 yr old it might be.
suspense and thriller. its an ok movie.
