It was about firefighters and the main character met his wife in a grocery store. They were at a St. Patrick's day party, and she wouldn't drink, and that's when he found out she was pregnant. There was some really pretty music at the beginning, and I want to find the soundtrack, so thats why I need to know. Help!

Sounds like Ladder 49, I remember Joaquin (sp?) Phoenix meeting his future-wife (Jacinda Barret) in a grocery store. Then they went to a party afterwards but I don't remember what they talked about exactly. It was all part a flashback while Phoenix's character waited to be rescued in a burning factory.
But I remember Barret and her child awaiting the news of Phoenix in their home, so I'm 99% sure it's Ladder 49.

if it sounded Irish I'd say it's most likely If I Should Fall From Grace With God - The Pogues .. (it's the only song listed on the soundtrack that is by a band that has that sound..)
It's not really "pretty", but I'll keep checking
