it took him a week,i needed a new mouse,so he got me a kensington wireless mouse,these things are great,BUT after five days of use kaput your batteries go and you need to replace them.someone told me to use rechargeable batteries,what brand of batteries are considered good for this type of mouse? thank you.

It might sound like a pain, but just pop the batteries out when your not using it. Our microsoft mouse lasts about 2 months before the batteries run out. Our logitech one lasts about 4 months.

The mouse should not use up it's batteries that fast. I use a Microsoft cordless mouse and have had the same batts for about 7 or 8 months now.

I second the last answer. I have had a Microsoft wireless mouse for about a year and have only once changed the batteries. They are not too expensive.
