division is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal:

(2x-6)/21 *(12)/(5x-15)

(2x-6)*(12)/21(5x-15)

24(x-3)/ 105(x-3)

notice the x-3 in both numerator and denominator:

24/105

3(8)/3(35)

= 8/35

just switch the bottom and then multiply it by the top

(2x-6)/22 * 12/(5x-15)
you can factor some of it...2 goes into both 22 and 12

2(x-3)/11 * 6/5(x-3)
the x-3 cancels itself out on both sides

2/11*6/5

==12/55

Invert the second term and multiply it by the first term (a/b divided by c/d is equivalent to a/b X d/c).
