I am am twelve years old and I have an account with bank of america under my moms name and was wondering if I could make a online account to check to see my account and whats in it and stuff even though im a minor?

Yes you can check your account online but there is a monthly charge to do so. As far as I know, the only way to use online banking for free is to either have a large amount of money in your account (s)(thousands of dollars) or to have an automatic deposit of some kind that is deposited regularly to the account(usually your paycheck from your job or a social security check).

Ask your mom to start an account in your name. Your situation apparently is your mom has an account that she has set aside for you. The bank will not recognize that as a reason to allow you access to the money or information about the account.

Since this is in your moms name, it's tecnically (and legally) your moms, not yours. If you wish to view that account, online or not, your mom will need to set it up for you.
