Whats going wrong with the teams in this region?

Newcastle have more money than sense and they just buy players who sound good but aren't and they therefore very rarely bring through their own youngsters. Their team is full of good players but they don't gel together so they don't go anywhere..... Sunderland don't have any quality at this level and although they do fight there not gonna do much whereas middleboro are just a very average team with little spirit so they aren't going anywhere

My team (Middlesbrough) have no strikers, defence or much of anything else. Mind you, if you were paid 40 grand a week for matches like todays `effort` it aint half bad.

I agree about your coment about newcastle united buying players who sound good but i think you have got your facts wrong about us not bringing through young players.....ramage,taylor,huntington,edgar,ameobi,chopra,carrol all players who have come through the newcastle united academy.
