MAYBE YOU LOOK CUTE AND UNIQUE, I AM SPANISH AND SPEAK PERFECT ENGLISH AND I AM ALWAYS ASKED IF I AM MIXED, BECAUSE THEY SAY I HAVE THAT UNIQUE LOOK. ITS NICE BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL SPECIAL.

I THINK WHEN PEOPLE SEE A PERSON THAT IS VERY UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE CURIOUS TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MIXED WITH, ITS SIMPLE CURIOSITY, BUT WHEN YOU SAY THEY LABEL YOU WHAT DO YOU MEAN? DO THEY CALL YOU NAMES?

IF SO THEY ARE JUST JEALOUS THERE NOT AS CUTE AS YOU! I KNOW PEOPLE DID THAT TO ME IN SCHOOL WHOEVER MAKES FUN OF YOU IS BECAUSE THEY ARE ENVIOUS THAT THEY ARENT AS HOT AS YOU! TRUST ME ON THIS ONE, IT NEVER FAILS.

you can give an explanation when you feel like it. like my parents parents are from here were from here blahblah. but it gets really tiring. so sometimes you can get snarky like, what am i? i am a human being. i am a man. i am a student. i am 14 years old. i am a lot of things. but know that people, or at least a very big majority of them, do not mean offense when they ask you that. so it's not an attack, though it feels like it is when all of us just want to be accepted for who we are, not stand out because we do not easily fit into a class or ethnicity.

it's just a part of your history, nothing more. and there will be people with enough sense to not ask you that as one of the very first questiosn when they meet you. and even if they do, doesn't mean that they won't want to get to know the true you.

ozziegal: i have found that sometimes when people ask you where you are from, they are asking where do you live. but a lot of the time, and it depends also on where you live, and actually, what color your skin is, people are asking what country besides america are you/your parents from, not necessarily where do you live. it can get very daunting for people who are interracial -- that's not playing the race card... at the same time it's not saying people are out to get me because i am different. you are assuming that people are asking him where he lives... and that having to constantly give a breakdown of what race his parents are is just getting to know what a person is like.

Do what my friend does: he just says he's american and when they push he acts really confused. You mean I'm not american?! It's a hoot watching him put on the show though I know it pisses him off.
If you're not into that just ask them, "Why?" and keep asking since they're being rude by asking you that question in the first place since really it's none of their business what you're mixed with. It doesn't change who you are as a person.

i assume it extremely is the GSD that's the male? His sperm are probable now of low high quality through age. they have a tendency to be much less motile, in lots of circumstances have defects alongside with 2 heads, low sperm count type customarily. hence the AKC calls for vet verification whilst a clutter is made from a male greater desirable than 12 yrs previous. i will stay away from the glaring question of why producing a blended breed could honor your previous guy.

Because you are not white. I'm not trying to be racist, but I can guarantee that is the reason. I'm sure if I was off in a foreign Country full of people of a different colour, they'd all label me, and ask about my heritage.

This is going to be the case for the rest of your life... People are going to always ask you questions about your race, and unfortunately, you're going to have to deal with it... Right now, you're probably surrounded by kids your own age (other 14 year olds who may be immature), and they have a tendency to ask more personal questions.... As you get older, and you are surrounded by older people, people may not be so compelled to ask questions about your race just based on your color...

Tell them you are a human being. Not to be labelled. You are you and what does it matter what makes you, it is the person that matters not their ethnicity.
I'm part Irish, part English, thats quite cool, sometimes. It wasn't cool to be that when the IRA were bombing England though. Best just to be you.

Flip the question and ask them the same thing. Most people don't know their racial heritage past 4 generations. Ask them "Are you sure?".

Learn about anthropology and all the races of the world and you will see that everyone should be asked that same question.

Tell them you are a 14 year old human being with feelings just like everyone else in the world. People can be such a pain in the butt, can't they?
