Would you ever consider acting on your secret crush? What holds you back?

I do have a crush, but it's not too much of a secret, since I'll tell you now that it's you. And I would act on it, if I had the chance. There's only one thing that stops me (and I know you know what it is) and it's getting increasingly hard for me to remember what it is, at times.

Nope because I tried it before and well I'd just never consider doing it again. The thing that holds me back is fear of rejection and ridicule. Yes everyone says tell them how you feel about them and he too will have SOME feelings for you only its a lie they never do and tried acting on a secret crush more times than I should have and I decided I will never do it again...its quite embarrassing.

I would consider acting on my secret crush if I knew where to find him!I saw him at a martial arts contest and I can't get him out of my mind!I couldn't go and talk to him because all his colleagues and his instructors were around him and I bet they would have started to laugh!I don't have his phone number and I don't know where he lives so I can't do anything now!

Well, considering the fact that I have been married for six years to the woman I have a crush on, I just act anytime the mood hits!!!!!

well i've been 'considering' for the past two years.
We know each other quite well, and once (long ago, when i wasn't crushing on him yet) we even had this conversation about how i wasn't thinking of entering into romantic relationships yet, or how he has this 'vow' that he wouldn't ask a girl out till after college..
and THAT's what's holding me back. i dunno, i guess i'm just too proud to eat my words...yikes.
plus, what if he doesn't feel the same way? i wouldn't want to scare him away from me, or make him uncomfortable.
T.T sheesh.

I would consider it, but I would never go through with it. Embarrassment, rejection, awkwardness. Now that I think about it, these reasons are lame.
