No, because it is easy to forgive but not always as easy to forget. It really depends on the circumstances.

Depends on the individual and the situation but for most people it usually does work.
If your best friend stole $500 bucks from you and you found out eventually then it might work.
If you caught your spouse/fiance in bed with your best friend then well,,,,,,,,hmmm IT MIGHT WORK (if your the forgiving type heheh)

When you say your sorry you have to mean it for it to count. Just don't say sorry and leave it at that explain how sorry you relay are.
