If you buy a tree now, or in two weeks doesn't make much difference. All the trees are cut around the same, usually in mid to late Oct. It is even possible buying it earlier and getting watered sooner may prolong its "life." Or you could go to a cut your own farm, which can be a great family outing. If you chose this route, measure the area where you plan to place it, and bring along a tape measure, Trees never look as big in the "wild."

Yes, only because it's like a tall skinny tree, so last year after Christmas we just carried it downstairs all in one piece, decorated and all, and the other day when my hubby was here for a minute I had him carry it up for me. So here it sits, I just need to plug it in.
