Switzer? He probably leads in players arrested. Spurrier? He isn't even in the top 30 coaches of all time. Bear Bryant, Knute Rockne, or Joe Paterno. Personally I would take Knute, but I wouldn't argue with the other two. Osbourne was a good coach, and a class act, but 94 still bothers me. Penn State should have had a share of that national championship, but everyone voted to give it to nebraska so Osbourne could get one, since he was so old and never won one, then the guy coached for ten more years, and won two more.

Knute Rockne!

The man introduced the forward pass and the shift into football.

Not to mention his all time coaching record for 13 seasons was 105 -12 - 5, and he won 6 national championships.

Bobby Bowden. Took FSU from nobodys to a perennial powerhouse. Also has the record for most wins during an era that has become more & more competitive as we can easily see this season. Close 2nd is Paterno who is only a few wins behind Bowden.

You can thumbs down all you want because it doesn't match your opinion. But one thing: Most wins ever! Suck on it.
