Yes I have. My husband used to be homeless. So I feel some sort of sympathy for the homeless. I try and help out whenever I can.

No but I have given coats.
Once time I bought a homeless man a Whataburger, when I handed it to him he laughed and said " I want money for booze honey not a burger!" Oh well at least he was honest. He kept the burger when I didn't give money though.

i dont usually give money but ive bought food for people before...
this time last year i was on a night out and it was almost christmas...i helped a guy sell his big issues for about half an hour by giving a kiss on the cheek to anyone that bought one,lol...
and the same night i sat down on the pavement with a guy for a while and listened to him tell me about his story and bought him some take away...
i dont give money because there are too many people needing it and some wouldnt spend it on food or shelter but i think there are all kinds of other ways you can help too...;0)

No. Our mayor discourages it. He wants us to donate to one of the Food Banks here or another reputable charity, but he does not want the homeless intimidating people. While some are truly down on their luck, many are drunks or drug addicts.

Yes - and then he swore at me and chased me away, lol. l was about 12 years old, so I've been a bit nervous since then to just go ahead and offer it. But I often put money into charity boxes when I see them around. :-)

yes ,but it is better to get them food.or a hot drink.the money goes on drugs.
I have been asked for 6p once,and I had spent all my money,I could only find 1p but he was happy with that.
it would be a long slow day,asking everybody for that,most people say no.

no , but when i was a bus driver in London , i offered a homeless person a hot drink in the winter , he just said '' no way man , but i'll have 2 quid for a can ''
