Please don’t answer sarcastically, if you don’t want to answer the question or don’t know the answer, then move on to the next question. Believe it or not, this still exist in our country, just like racism, although there’s laws that makes it illegal.

Prior to 1967, the majority of all the states in the U.S. had laws banning "whites" from marrying "non-whites". In some states that meant "blacks" specifically... in others, it meant anyone who wasn't white. This was furthered by forced sterilization of many women and children until sometime in the 70's.

There are websites out there with humorous takes on some state laws, but the majority of those are skewed for the sake of being funny... and I'm not sure that interracial dating is one of them.

I'll include some links on both topics though :)

If any states still have laws like that on their books, they are unenforceable, because they have been declared unconstitutional.

Bob Jones University used to have rules against inter-racial dating, but did away with those rules when it became a political liability for any conservative politician who might be invited to the school.

When I first came to Virginia in 1967, it was against the law for a white to marry a non-white. I bet the sailors had problems in that area here with a lot marrying Filipino women.

If you're so confident that such a law exists in the US why don't YOU tell us where instead of asking. I'm pretty sure that there is no state in the US where interracial marriage is condemned. I think you're just trying to stir up some racial doo doo

Maybe southern states? I live in the midwest and I see blacks and whites dating all the time. I think the further up north you go on the American map, the less racism one experiences, but maybe Im wrong.

While it is "legal" everywhere, there are some places that it just don't happen. Especially in the rural deep south.
