Your question brings up an incident which happened at Circuit City, that Babylonic Scrooge-like subversive company. I got up early and caught a bus to go there to get me a laptop, of which is the main thing I want for Christmas. Well these scoundrels only had 10 on Black Friday, and they were gone shortly after the joint opened up. I got up two hours early to go there before I was to work. Well there were none, and they were not going to do JACK to get me one in the least. Their miniscule excuse was that it was retail. That's an assininely lame excuse since they know they're going to sell, and NO ONE should have to camp overnight in the freezing cold just to buy a modest laptop. Leo Buscaglia said once "Love is subversive activity". My adaptation to that is "Business is suversive activity"... and even far more so when it's retail business with its dirty tricks. So no, I won't be standng in line for a gift purchase, especially at the inscrupulous Circuit City.
